Laurel A. Peckenham

Lincoln - Laurel A. Peckenham, 86, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, surrounded by her family.

Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Rosalina (Granger) Peckenham, she had been a lifelong resident of Lincoln.

Miss Peckenham worked as a secretary at Hunter Insurance, Manville, for many years before retiring.

Laurel enjoyed being with those she loved, and loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She was a wonderful hostess who was known for her delicious cookies. She enjoyed birdwatching and gardening, and most of all, to go camping on her cousin's island in Somerville, Maine. She loved cats, including her beloved kitten, Muffin. She was a member of the American-French Genealogical Society, and a communicant of Saint Jude Church, Lincoln.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Virginia Wiegel and Thomas H. Peckenham, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Family and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
