Lincoln – Kyung Shin (Kim) Cho, 70, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Myong J. Cho for the past 45 years.
Born in Daejeon, South Korea, a daughter of the late In Wha Kim and Myung Soon (Oh) Kim, she had lived in Seoul before moving to Lincoln.
Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving daughter, Amy Cho of New York City, NY; her sisters, Aeshin Lee of Houston, TX and Wha Shin Kim of Incheon, South Korea; her brother, Won Kuk Kim of South Korea; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Yung Shin Kim.
Mrs. Cho was employed in the family business, Cho's Electronics of North Providence, for many years.
She was a member of Chapel Street Congregational Church, Lincoln where she volunteered with the gardens at the church, and she was a member of the First Korean Church of Rhode Island.
She had a green thumb and loved to tend to plants, particularly orchids and peonies.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10 A.M. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Her burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
