North Providence - Kristen L. Holobowicz, 42, of North Providence, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 14, 2023.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Francis "Frank" and Linda M. (Garant) Holobowicz, she had lived most of her life in Lincoln and Pawtucket before moving to North Providence three years ago.
Kristen attended Florida Southern College and Johnson & Wales University, earning her bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and Hotel & Restaurant Management.
She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed fishing, and always enjoyed the company of good friends and family. She especially loved her niece and nephews, and was a great friend to many people.
She is survived by two sisters, Tracy Fitzhugh and her husband Michael, of Lincoln, and Amy Vincenzi, and her husband Scott, of Lincoln; her niece and nephews, Brittany Fitzhugh, Evan Vincenzi and Bradan Vincenzi; and her beloved dogs, Libby and Franklynn.
Her funeral service will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 12 Noon in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
