Manville - Kenneth R. L'Etoile, 80, of Railroad Street, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Crystal Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center, Pascoag. He was the beloved husband of the late Linda L. (L'Heureux) L'Etoile.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Lucien and Fabiola (Auclair) L'Etoile, he had lived in Manville for most of his life.
Ken worked as a carpet mechanic for Mailloux Furniture, Woonsocket, and later owned Lucky Star Antique Shop, Manville for twelve years before retiring. He was a member of the Southern New England Antique Dealers Association.
A Marine Corps veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the National Disabled Veterans Association, a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the Alphonse Yelle Post #9, American Legion, Manville, and an honorary member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Association.
He is survived by one daughter, Shelly Sutherland of Texas; one son, Charles "Chuck" L'Etoile of Manville; one sister, Helene Carmignani of Franklin, Mass.; and five grandsons, Eric Tardie, Joshua Tardie, Dorian L'Etoile, Draven L'Etoile and Silas L'Etoile.
His funeral and burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
