Keith Brask Obituary

Lakeland, Florida- Keith D. Brask, 60 of Lakeland, formerly of Attleboro, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston after a two-month battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was the beloved husband of Janice (Caporaletti) Brask, the love of his life for 39 years, whom he adored greatly, and who was by his side until his last breath.

Keith David Brask was a devoted husband and father who exuded the love of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He was an active and involved father to his two daughters, Rachel and Megan, son Ryan, sons-in-law Peter and Joshua, and daughter-in-law Mary. He was absolutely taken by his first and only grandson, Levi Everett Richards.

He grew up in Attleboro’s Karen Street with his sister, Cheryle, neighbors and friends. He was the son of David J. Brask and the late Barbara A. (Whalen) Campbell. Keith graduated Attleboro High School, and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Bryant University. He worked for the family business in the waste industry for over 40 years, where he was a trash man, salesman, and President/CEO of Brask Enterprises.

Keith enjoyed woodworking, listening to his favorite 70s tunes, going for walks, working out, riding his Harley, fishing, and spending time with family. He thoroughly enjoyed eating peanut butter M&Ms, cream cheese frosting, good food and sampling different types of teas. He traveled often and had a fun-loving and adventurous spirit, but he always cherished his quiet times at home with family. Keith especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Levi. He loved cuddling with his loyal dog, Ruger.

Keith attended the Seekonk Free Methodist Church, where he had been on the board and served as treasurer. He also attended Grace Church in Lakeland, FL. He is known for his generous and charitable spirit, his sense of humor and laughter, and for having a singer’s soul, even if he didn’t have a singer’s voice. His passion was sharing the love of Christ through his relationships, and in generously helping others in any way needed. He always had a twinkle in his eye, an infectious smile, and a knack for coining some signature catchphrases. He was much beloved by over 16 nieces and nephews who called him Uncle Keith, and whom he took under his wing as his own.

Besides his wife, Janice, he is survived by two daughters, Rachel M. Hutchinson, and her husband Peter, and Megan E. Richards, and her husband Joshua; one son, Ryan D. Brask, and his wife Mary; two sisters, Cheryle O’Keefe, and her husband Michael, and Amber Brask, and her partner Dane; two brothers, DJ Brask, and his wife Sierra, and Michael Brask, and his fiancé Stefanie; one grandson, Levi Everett Richards; and several nieces and nephews. Keith was much loved by extended family, friends, and colleagues and will be deeply missed.

His funeral and burial will be private.  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, RI. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Keith’s name to the Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
