Cumberland - June E. (Tait) Ronan-Flank, 88, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Anchor Bay at East Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Ronan and the late Lenny Flank.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Brown) Tait, she had lived in Cumberland for over fifty years. She had also resided in Palm Harbor, Florida and Lincoln, before moving to East Providence.
June worked as a waitress at the former Chelo’s Beef Hearth, Cumberland, for twenty-one years before retiring.
An avid bowler, she participated in leagues at the former Lincoln Lanes, and loved dancing. She was a parishioner of Four Corners Community Chapel, Cumberland. She will be sadly missed by many.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Bourgeois of Rumford; and Joyce Lefebvre of North Providence; one son, James J. Ronan of Cumberland; six grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles W. Tait.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Social distancing will be followed and all guests will be required to wear a mask. Her funeral, with burial in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls, will be private.
