PAWTUCKET - Judith "Judy" A. Pilz, 76, of Norman Avenue, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.
She was the beloved wife of Robert Pilz, with whom she shared 38 years of marriage.
Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, Judy was the daughter of the late Shirley (Hague) Trofo.
Judy worked for many years in the food and beverage and jewelry industries, while also helping to operate her family's construction business. She was known for her vibrant personality, marked by her electric hair color, fearless fashion sense, unforgettable laugh, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She cherished summer trips to Cape Cod, shopping adventures at Garden City-always ending with a sweet treat from Sweenor's-and indulging in her favorite New England staples, clam cakes and doughboys (from Iggy's, of course). A proud New England sports fan, Judy rarely missed the chance to cheer on her favorite teams.
In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her son, Corey Pilz and his partner, Christopher Cusati, of Providence; her daughter, Tina Corrente of Sarasota, Florida; and her beloved grandchildren, Gianna and Nico.
Her visitation and funeral services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Bellows Funeral Chapel, Lincoln.
