Pawtucket - Joseph W. Hall, 88, of Pawtucket, died Sunday, March 29, 2026 at home. He was the loving husband of Janice A. (Holburn) Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Hall would have celebrated their fifty-eighth anniversary this May.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Joseph and Ann (McCusker) Hall, he resided in Pawtucket for most of his life. He is also survived by his two sons, Matthew J. Hall and Jonathan R. Hall, also of Pawtucket.
Joseph attended Boston University , and enlisted in the United States Air Force serving for less than a year before going to USAF Pilot Training in Texas, and was awarded his wings. He then served in the Rhode Island Air National Guard 143d Squadron for twenty-two years, retiring as a Major in 1976. He went on to work for Amtrol, first as a company pilot, and later in sales. He then had his own company, Vanco, Inc., in Needham, Mass., which he operated for many years. He would later work alongside his wife at T.R. Little and RE/MAX before founding Hall Realty Group in Pawtucket with his wife and two sons in 2006. He enjoyed playing golf, and was a member of Wannamoisett Country Club, Rumford, for over forty years.
His funeral will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
