Woonsocket – Joseph J. DesRoche, Sr., 58, of Lydia Avenue, formerly of Auburn, Massachusetts, died Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, a son of the late Robert and Patricia (Hallisey) DesRoche, he had lived in Auburn for many years, before recently moving to Woonsocket.
Mr. DesRoche was an electrician for ProStar Energy in Massachusetts.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and watching sports. He was a member of the Mattamiscontis Club in Maine.
He is survived by one son, Daniel DesRoche of Woonsocket; and one sister, Mary Tarantino of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He was the father of the late Joseph J. DesRoche, Jr., and the brother of the late John DesRoche, William DesRoche, Paula DesRoche and Robert DesRoche.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and all guests will be required to wear a mask.
