Jorge Gonzalo Urquizo, 68, of North Providence, Rhode Island, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, Jorge was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his work as a polisher. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and father-in-law. His family was his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maruja Urquizo; his daughters, Karina Urquizo, Jael Urquizo, Lisbeth Urquizo, and Veronica Urquizo; his sons-in-law, Michael Tordoya, Tulio Cordova, and Gavriel Bermudes; his cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Chris, Kayleen, Alex, Ashley, and Sophia; and his siblings, Carmen Urquizo, Marisol Urquizo, Juan Carlos Urquizo, Janeth Urquizo, Vladimir Urquizo, and Humberto Villagomez.
Jorge will be remembered for his strength, his dedication, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
His funeral will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 8:45 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
