Lincoln - John "Jack" W. Morgan, Jr., 75, of Lincoln, died peacefully Friday, March 20, 2026 at Miriam Hospital, Providence, surrounded by loved ones. He was the loving husband of Pamela (Brown) Morgan, with whom he enjoyed forty years of marriage.
Born in Providence, son of the late John W. Morgan and Carolyn (Arnold) Connors, and stepson of Roy Connors of Smithfield, he lived most of his life in Lincoln after spending his childhood in Pawtucket.
Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having honorably served during the Vietnam War. His pride was always on display with his signature Marine Corps or POW hats and sunglasses.
After serving, Jack worked for many years at the Providence & Worcester Railroad, retiring as a signalman. Upon his retirement, he attended the New England Institute of Technology, earning his associate's degree and achieving Dean's List honors twice.
In addition to his beloved wife and step-father, he is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Morgan and her fiancé Joel Solis of Lincoln; his son, Christopher Brown and his wife Brittany of Burrillville; his sister, Robyn (Oldfield) Peltier of Connecticut; his brothers, Michael Connors of Providence and Roy Connors of Pawtucket; and his five cherished grandchildren, Zoey Brown, Sydney Brown, Zachary Brown, Jack Solis and Emmy Solis. He also leaves his niece, Rachael (McMahon) O'Connor of Lincoln along with many other nieces and nephews throughout the country. He was the brother of the late Sharon Oldfield and Jo-Ann Doyle.
Jack is reunited with his beloved dogs, Harold and Max.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 would be appreciated.
