Jesse A. Carpenter

Cumberland – Jesse A. Carpenter, 66, of Cumberland passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the former husband of Colleen (Cassidy) Carpenter of Woonsocket.

Born in Attleboro, MA, a son of the late Jesse F. Carpenter (retired Cumberland Police Captain) and the late Jacqueline R. (Anderson) Carpenter, he had lived in Cumberland for most of his life.

Jesse was the former Fire Chief of the North Cumberland Fire District, Cumberland. He was a 1972 graduate of Cumberland High School.

Besides Colleen, he is survived by three stepsons, Timothy C. Pedro of Woodbury, CT, Eric C. Pedro of Cranston and Kevin C. Pedro of Jersey City, NJ; one sister, Cynthia M. Chabot and her husband, Alan of Cumberland; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Douglas J. Carpenter.

His Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Carpenter Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
