Lincoln - Jeanne H. Leclerc-Waldron, 90, of Lincoln, formerly of Pawtucket, died Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Lighthouse at Lincoln. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James V. Waldron, and the companion of Raymond R. Lapointe of Woonsocket.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Dube) Leclerc, she had resided in Pawtucket for many years, moving to Lincoln in 2015.
Mrs. Leclerc-Waldron was a graduate of Anna Maria College, and had a master's degree in Education from Assumption College. For twenty-five years she was a Sister of Saint Anne, where she taught in many Catholic Schools throughout MA and RI. She was the principal of the former Bishop Keough High School, Pawtucket, where she had previously been a teacher and guidance counselor.
In addition to her companion, she is survived by two sisters, Pauline Tessier-Bouvier (Bob) of Lincoln, and Rita Smith (William) of Easthampton, MA.; two brothers, Omer Leclerc (Aline) of Seekonk, MA and Roger Leclerc (Marion) of Coventry; three stepsons, Joseph Waldron of TN, James Waldron of Warwick, and John Waldron of East Providence and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo Leclerc.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 8:45 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 PM with a family remembrance eulogy at 7:00 PM.
