Jeanne C. (Brissette) Drainville

Cumberland - Jeanne C. (Brissette) Drainville, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. Drainville. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Lilianne (Pepin) Brissette. She grew up in Woonsocket and lived in Cumberland for over forty years. She moved to Providence two years ago.

Jeanne, a woman with a big heart, often put others before herself. She always had friends everywhere she went. Being a Grammy brought the most joy to her life. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, hearing about their lives and seeing photographs of their friends and travels.

In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Many family and friends have afghans that she lovingly made for weddings, babies or just because. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune fan. She loved playing cards and bingo too. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Woman's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her two brothers Armand Jr. and Raymond Brissette.

She is survived by her loving daughter Susan Votta of Lincoln and her cherished granddaughters Ashley and Sarah Votta.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 9:00 am from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.
