Janet R. (Specht) Trudel

Cumberland - Janet R. (Specht) Trudel, 76, of 1 Mendon Rd. Cumberland, died Monday, December 1, 2025 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

Born in Attleboro, Mass., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Priscilla (Blackington) Specht, she was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

Janet enjoyed a fifty year career as a licensed practical nurse, working at Diamond Hill Nursing facility for twenty-five years, and the nurse at First Step Day Care in Pawtucket before retiring. Janet loved animals, especially dogs. She was also an avid reader.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Trudel (Karen) of Lincoln and Robert Trudel (Jennifer) of South Attleboro, Mass.; one sister, Shirley (Specht) Pierce of Cumberland; and three grandchildren, Scott Trudel, Robert Trudel and Haley Trudel. She was the sister of the late Michael Specht.
