James L. Reed

James Leo Reed, 78, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, formerly of East Providence, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at The Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI. He was the devoted husband of Susan Reed and a proud father to Cody Reed and Kathryn Reed Puleo. James was a cherished grandfather to Hunter Reed and Abigail and Connor Puleo, and he adored his grand pups too.

Always happiest when he was outside working in the yard, James spent his career as a landscaper and carried that love of the outdoors into his everyday life. Whether fixing things around the house or lending a hand to his kids, he was always there when needed. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren- helping them with their projects, watching them play sports, cheering them on from the sidelines, and sharing countless special moments together.
