Bristol – Helen F. (Mayoh) Greenhalgh, 91, of Bristol passed away peacefully Sunday, July 18, 2021 at The Dawn Hill Home, Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late Selbie Greenhalgh.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Frank H. and Hilda (Gray) Mayoh, she had lived in Pawtucket before moving to Warren for 26 years. She had lived in Bristol for the past 24 years. She was a graduate of LaSalle Junior College, Waltham, Massachusetts.
Mrs. Greenhalgh was the Vice President and Secretary of the former A. Greenhalgh Company, Pawtucket for 12 years before retiring in 1990. She previously had worked at the former Gladding’s Department Store and the former Pawtucket Institution for Savings.
Helen was a longtime member of Pawtucket Country Club, Pawtucket. She was an avid reader and loved to play bridge with the ladies down at the North Farms Yacht Club.
She is survived by her two grandsons, Daniel T. Hey (Jennifer) of Warwick and James P. Hey of Pawtucket. She was the mother of the late Lynne F. Hey and the sister of the late Doris L. Mayoh and James E. Mayoh.
Her graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Riverside Cemetery, 752 Pleasant Street, Pawtucket.
