Gordon Carlin Obituary

Cumberland – Gordon A. Carlin, 85, of Mendon Road, died Monday, February 3, 2020, at Miriam Hospital, Providence.  He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly A. (Stewart) Carlin.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William and Annie (Thompson) Carlin, he had lived in Lincoln for many years before moving to Cumberland over fifteen years ago.

Mr. Carlin worked in the jewelry manufacturing industry for many years before retiring.  He was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge #8 F. & A.M. and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Sandra Roche and Marlene Carlin; and several nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late William Carlin, Jr., Robert Carlin, June Worsley and George Carlin.

His funeral will be celebrated Friday, February 7, 2020 at 12 Noon in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 12 Noon.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham MA 02451 would be appreciated.
