Lincoln - Germaine T. (Bell) Menard, 93, of Lincoln, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of Marcel Menard. Mr. & Mrs. Menard had been married for seventy-two years.
Born in Manville, a daughter of the late Adolphe and Lucienne (St. Germain) Bell, she was a lifelong resident of Lincoln.
Mrs. Menard worked as a newspaper distributor for the Providence Journal, Woonsocket Call and Pawtucket Times for ten years before retiring.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and gardening, and was excellent with knitting, crocheting and needlework, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a communicant of Saint Ambrose Church, Albion.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Denis Menard, and his partner Brad Balster, of Boston, Massachusetts; one sister, Claudette Laliberte of Coventry; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marguerite Laloian, Fernand Bell and Rita Ezovski; and the sister-in-law of the late Roger Laliberte.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville. Social distancing will be followed, and masks will be required.
