Pawtucket - Frederick T. Specht, 77, of Harrison Street, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Frederick G. and Mary C. (Kuras) Specht, he had lived most of his life in Pawtucket.
Mr. Specht worked as a patient aide at the Wrentham State School, retiring in 2004. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was Past Commander of the Elwood Euart Post 602, V.F.W., Pawtucket, and a member of the former Fierlet-Korzen Post 79, American Legion, Central Falls.
He is survived by his daughter, Hope Specht of North Providence; his son, Frederick G. Specht, and his wife Julie, of Lincoln; three, grandchildren, Riley Specht, Caden Specht and Jada Specht; his brother, John Specht, and his wife Elaine, of Bristol; his niece and nephew, Greg Specht and Christine Gorton; his great nephews, Jacob Gorton and Zachary Gorton, and his beloved cat, Calie.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
