Lincoln - Frederick J. Roche, 80, of Lincoln, died Friday, November 15, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda P. (Phetteplace) Roche, to whom he had been married for the past fifty-six years.
Born in Fall River, Mass., a son of the late Alfred and Stasia (Wrobleski) Roche, he had resided in Lincoln since 1968.
Mr. Roche was a manufacturing sales representative for thirty-five years, representing C.J. Fox Co., Providence, Alga Plastics Co., Cranston, and F.H. Buffington Paper Box Co., Central Falls, before retiring. He was a graduate of Bryant College.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War.
Fred was an avid reader, he constantly read novels, books and periodicals on a daily basis. He enjoyed Sundays watching the New England Patriots play football.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Diane R. Gagne and John F. Roche, and his wife Barbara, all of Lincoln; and four grandchildren, Angela Gagne, Timothy Gagne, Charlotte Roche and Lucca Roche. He was the brother of the late Robert Roche.
His funeral will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:30 AM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 10:30 - 11:30 AM.
