Evelyn J. (Hague) Comstock

Lincoln - Evelyn J. (Hague) Comstock, 89, of Lincoln, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was the beloved wife of James T. Comstock, Jr., to whom she had been married for the past fifty-four years.

Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Carl and Olive (Lane) Hague, she had resided in Lincoln since 1968.

Mrs. Comstock worked as an office worker at H & H Screw Products, Lincoln, and as operations manager for Industrial National Bank before retiring.

She loved all animals, especially her cats, as well as bird watching.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Linda Comstock of Manville, Joyce Comstock of Lincoln, and Carol Comstock of Florida; one son, John Comstock of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James T. Comstock III.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
