Pawtucket - Eugene T. “Mickey” Colvin, 86, of Power Road, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. (Burt) Colvin.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur and Anna (Sullivan) Colvin, he had been a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Colvin worked as a mechanic for the City of Pawtucket for thirty years before retiring. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Capt. Elwood J. Euart Post #602, V.F.W., Pawtucket and a member of the AFSCME Local #1012, Pawtucket.
He is survived by five daughters, Ann Marie Dunn of Tennessee, Gigi Bouvier of Pawtucket, Sandra Gilchrist of Lincoln, Donna Adamo of Pawtucket and Laura Wild of Coventry; four sons, Michael Colvin of North Kingstown, Stephen Buckless of Pawtucket, Scott Buckless of Pawtucket and Thomas Colvin of Virginia; two sisters, Joan Russell and Carol Peace, both of Texas; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
His funeral will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Pawtucket.
