Ernest F. Robillard, Jr.

Central Falls – Ernest F. Robillard, Jr, 91, of Dexter Street, died Monday, June 7, 2021 at Orchard View Manor, East Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Jeannette B. (Demeule) Robillard.  Mr. & Mrs. Robillard had been married for the past sixty-six years.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Ernest F. Robillard and Eleanor (Whittaker) Hayes, he had lived in Central Falls since 1954.

Mr. Robillard served in the United States Air Force for twenty-one years, serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant.  Following his military service, he worked as a bakery worker for the former Nissen’s Bakery, Central Falls.

He was a member of the former Eugene T. Lefebvre Post, V.F.W., Central Falls and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).  An avid bowler, he participated in the Senior Olympics.  He was a communicant of Holy Spirit Parish, Central Falls.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Theresa Bennett, and her husband Bruce, of New York, Elaine Walek of Central Falls, Diane McGee, and her husband James of Central Falls, and Estelle Beaudette, and her husband Daniel, of Jamestown; one son, Michael Robillard of Central Falls; one sister, Gail Haile of Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  He was the brother of the late Olive Lello, Audrey Demeule, Eileen Jutras and Daniel Robillard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter Street, Central Falls.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Private burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the D.A.V., 380 Westminster Mall, Providence, R.I. 02903 would be appreciated.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
