Narragansett – Elvira “Vera” Kelaghan, 78, formerly of Lincoln and Great Island, Narragansett, died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Kelaghan.

Vera enjoyed playing and cuddling with her dog, Guinness. She was a voracious reader and loved word puzzles and games of all kinds. She especially loved spending time at her beautiful home on Great Island hosting parties for friends and neighbors. She is survived by two daughters, Tara Franzosa of Uxbridge, Mass., and Michaela Kaliner of Brooklyn, NY; one son, Jeffrey Kelaghan of Warwick; one brother, James Jacinto of Attleboro, Mass; and seven grandchildren, Drew Franzosa, Austin Franzosa, Elena Franzosa, Quinn Kaliner, Declan Kaliner, Rory Kelaghan and Seamus Kelaghan.
