Elizabeth M. (Aldrich) Moran

Cumberland - Elizabeth M. (Aldrich) Moran, 85, formerly of Winsor Street, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Riverview Health Community, Coventry.  She was the beloved wife of the late William T. Moran. 

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Albert L. and Esther (Curran) Aldrich, she had lived in Cumberland for fifty-eight years before moving to Coventry.

Mrs. Moran was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Providence, and worked as an inspector for A.T. Cross Company, Lincoln, before retiring.

She was a communicant of St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, Cumberland, and in her spare time enjoyed knitting and sewing.

She is survived by four daughters, Kathleen Kaldahl of Cumberland, Judith Loens of Cranston, Mary Beth Giusto of Cumberland, and Susan Bliss of Cumberland; one son, William A. Moran of Warwick; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Robert Aldrich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
