Elizabeth Brady Obituary

Lincoln - Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Potter) Brady, formerly of Lincoln and Key West, Florida, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Brady.

Born in Central Falls, the only daughter of the late Daniel V. and Edna (Milligan) Potter, she had resided in Lincoln for many years, before retiring to Key West twenty years ago. For the last five months, she resided at the Village at Waterman Lake, Greenville. Her family extends a special thank you to the entire staff for the exceptional care they provided, treating Betty with dignity and respect.

Betty worked as secretary for the Lincoln School Department, and the former Stallwood Insurance Agency, and as a claims specialist for the R.I. Department of Labor & Training before retiring.

With her late husband, Betty helped run Johnsons Motor Lodge, Twin Mountain, NH, and was a member of the Board of Directors at the Las Salinas Condominiums, serving as President.

Betty's legacy of unconditional love for family, and pride in each accomplishment, will be carried on by her three children, Kathleen Prevett of Hull, Mass., Robert Wall and his companion Donna Newman of Lincoln, and Daniel Wall of Cumberland; her four beloved grandchildren, Lindsay Neagle and her husband Doug, Chelsea Grossman, Barrett Wall and his wife Lindsey, and Bridgett Wall; and two great grandchildren, Gracen Neagle and Camden Neagle, with whom she had a strong and special bond.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. A collation will follow from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Lincoln Country Club, 31 Dexter Rock Road, Lincoln.
