Eleanor A. Smith

Eleanor A. Smith, 81, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024 at HopeHealth Hospice Hulitar Center, Providence.  She was the wife of the late Robert C. Smith.  Born in Central Falls, she was a one of six children to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bessette.

Mrs. Smith worked as a toy assembler for Hasbro before retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Lydia Meketsy; her son, Alan Bessette; four grandchildren and three great granchildren.  She was the mother of the late Lisa Donahue.

Her funeral and burial will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to Bellows Funeral Chapel, Lincoln.
