Warwick - Edward R. Brown, 83, formerly of Warwick, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol (D’Andrea) Brown, and the former husband of Nancy Brown of Greenville.
Born in Providence, a son of the late George and Gertrude (St. Martin) Brown, he had lived in Warwick for many years, before moving to North Fort Myers, Florida in 2015.
Mr. Brown was a self-employed jewelry model maker for twenty years, and had previously worked for several jewelry companies.
A graduate of LaSalle Academy, Providence, he had also served in the Rhode Island National Guard. He was a communicant of St. Gregory the Great Church, Warwick.
He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Fawal, and her husband Nabil, of Rutland, Massachusetts, Patti Hien, and her late husband Randy, of Lincoln, and Sharon Vredenberg, and her husband Robert; three step children, Andrew D’Andrea, and his wife Jennifer, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robert D’Andrea of Warwick, and Susan Kirby, and her husband Edward, of Wakefield; four sisters, Gertrude Reeve of Middletown, Connecticut, Lorraine Morgera, and her husband Joseph, of Wakefield, Marie White, and her husband William, of Wakefield, and Joanne Spears, and her husband Ronald, of Port Orange, Florida; twelve grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Brown and Robert Brown.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. from the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial with military honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
