Obituary

Lincoln - Dorothy L. "Dot" (Downie) Lussier, 93, formerly of Old River Road, died Monday, July 3, 2023 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond A. "Pete" Lussier.

Born in Newport, a daughter of the late Thomas and Louise (Trainor) Downie, she had lived in LIncoln for many years, moving to North Smithfield two years ago.
Mrs. Lussier worked as a personnel director for B.B. Greenberg Co., retiring in 1991.

Dot was an avid collector of antiques and collectibles, including Swarovski crystals, Sebastian miniatures, and items from Buyer's Choice and Franklin Mint. She volunteered her time doing taxes for the Lincoln Senior Center, and was a former member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Pawtucket. Throughout her life she always had Scottish Terriers.

She is survived by one son, David E. Lussier of Lincoln. She was the sister of the late Ruth Forsythe.
