Providence - Donald C. Baker (1960 - 2026) One January 9, 2026, we lost our spouse, brother, and friend. Donald leaves behind his spouse, John Godfrey of Providence, his brothers, Joseph Baker of North Providence, Robert Baker of North Providence, and his sister, Mary Dean of North Providence.
Donald served his country in the U.S. Army as a specialist, and in the National Guard as a sergeant. He attend the Community College of Rhode Island, and graduated with an Associate's Degree.
Donald loved photography, taking many beautiful photos. He has lived in Florida, Chicago and Rhode Island. He loved to travel to New York City every year and go to Central Park and call his mom when he was having a coffee and a bagel.
His funeral and burial with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7312, Warwick, RI 02887 would be appreciated.
