Deborah V. (Meehan) Moran

Cumberland- Deborah V. (Meehan) Moran, 72, of Cumberland and Venice, FL, and formerly Lincoln, RI, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Seasons Hospice, Milton, MA surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of 52 years of Robert E. Moran.

She was born in Newton, MA to the late Bernard J. and Gertrude M. (Foran) Meehan.  She received her Master’s in Education from Rhode Island College and worked for 28 years as a special educator at Davies Career and Technical High School before her retirement.  She enjoyed traveling, the beaches of Sarasota County, FL and socializing with a large circle of friends.  Her greatest blessing and joy was time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Robert, her son Christopher R. Moran and his wife Wendy of Cumberland, her daughter Michaella D. Costa and her husband Jason of Cumberland and her grandchildren, Connor, Dillon and Brady Moran and Nolan and Lindsey Costa.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Rd., Cumberland.  Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4-7PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel.
