Lincoln - Darlene M. (Marcil) Caron, 64, of Tucker Street, died Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Norman R. Caron. Mr. & Mrs. Caron would have celebrated their forty-fifth anniversary this May.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Lionel J. and Catherine (Mulcahy) Marcil, she had resided in Lincoln for the past thirty-two years, previously living in Woonsocket.
Mrs. Caron worked as a pricing specialist for CVS for twenty-five years before retiring.
Nothing was more important to Darlene than her family, and loved to spend time with children and grandchildren, as well as attending family reunions and gatherings. She enjoyed going to her family cabin in Guildhall, Vermont, which she considered her "happy place". She had a soft spot for animals.
A communicant of St. Ambrose Church, she volunteered with the Annual Parish Clambake.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jessica Correia, of Lincoln , Nicole Bakleh and her husband Joseph, of Lincoln; one brother, Thomas Marcil and his wife Connie Marcil of Woonsocket and a sister in-law Kelly Caron of Woonsocket ; and four grandchildren, Nicholas J. Correia, Emma E. Correia, Gianna E. Bakleh, and Edward "Teddy" J. Bakleh. She is the aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kathleen Lawrence, Elaine Garneau and William Marcil.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass.
