Claire V. (Pisani) Tripodi

North Attleboro, Mass. - Claire V. (Pisani) Tripodi, 95, of North Attleboro, formerly of Woonsocket, died Sunday, April 30, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late George Tripodi.

Born in Franklin, Mass., a daughter of the late Angelo and Dora (Calmaza) Pisani, she had lived in Woonsocket for most of her life, before moving to North Attleboro. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church, Woonsocket.

Mrs. Tripodi worked as an inspector for Uniroyal, Woonsocket for twenty-seven years, and as a training coordinator for the Wrentham State School for twenty-five years, retiring in 1997. After retiring she joined the YMCA and did water aerobics which is where she met many of her friends that she enjoyed traveling with. She especially enjoyed traveling to her condo in Florida and a few trips abroad. But her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, especially on Sundays.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Tripodi, and her life partner, Sandra O'Hare, of North Attleboro; her son, Dennis Tripodi, and his wife Karen, of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Eric Tripodi and Kerri Marcotte; and five great grandchildren, Abigail, Logan, and Caroline Tripodi, Zachary and Katie Marcotte. She was the sister of the late Warren Pisani and Ann Minot.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 126 Greene Street, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, Mass.
