Christopher David Tomlinson of Cumberland RI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 28, 2020 at the age of 39. He was the devoted husband of Katie (Anderson) Tomlinson and father to Timothy, Andrew, and Emily. Born and raised in Lincoln, RI, he was the son of Judith and David Tomlinson and brother of Matthew.
Chris graduated from Lincoln High School in 1998 where he made many long-lasting friendships. He was a food broker for Waypoint and considered highly respected in his field.
Chris loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed the summer on his back deck. He spent many warm days vacationing on Block Island and was an avid New England sports fan. Chris was an active member of his community and served as a coach for many youth flag football, baseball and soccer teams throughout the years.
Chris took pride in putting family first. He was a shining light to all who knew him and was known for his humor and ability to always put a smile on your face. A beloved husband, dedicated father, and loving son, brother, uncle, coach and friend; Chris will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation via drive thru on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. All guests must remain in their vehicles. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint John Vianney Church, Cumberland. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
