Obituary

Johnston - Christine L. “Bruce” (Phillips) Gailey, 93, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021.  She was the wife of the late James H. Gailey, Sr., and the daughter of the late Abel and Catherine (Eagleson) Phillips.

She precedes her sisters, Gertrude Maher, Catherine Warcup and Barbara Marquand.  She leaves her daughter, Christine Robin Correia, and her husband Al Correia, and her son, James H. Gailey, Jr.  She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gailey worked for New England Telephone Co. (Verizon) for forty years, retiring in 1987.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  Social distancing will be followed, and all guests will be required to wear a mask.
