Cathy M. (Wrenn) Moritz

Cumberland – Cathy M. (Wrenn) Moritz, 61, of Mendon Road, formerly of Woonsocket and North Providence, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at Oakland Grove Health Center, Woonsocket.

Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Theodore and Pauline (Proulx) Wrenn, she had lived in Woonsocket and North Providence, before recently moving to Cumberland.

Cathy was a certified nurse’s assistant for Hope Nursing Home Care, retiring in 2015.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was known for her green thumb, spending hours growing plants and gardening.  She was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship, Woonsocket.

She is survived by one daughter, Mallory Oliveira of Cumberland; one son, Joshua Moritz of Kansas City, Kansas; four sisters, Gail Durand of Cumberland, Joanne Lancia of Massachusetts, Karen Wrenn of New York, and Debbie Lanctotof Woonsocket; and four grandchildren, Joshua Moritz, Jr., Janessa Moritz, Jaydin Moritz, and Alivia Goncalves.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
