Mapleville - Catherine A. Picard, 70, of Maplewood Drive, died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Donald and Edith (Tranquilli) Picard, she had lived in Manville for many years, moving to Mapleville seven years ago.
Miss Picard worked as a medical receptionist for fifteen years at Anchor Medical, Lincoln, prior to that she worked 15 years for Hartford health before retiring.
She traveled extensively from when she was born until she turned 18 with her parents throughout the globe, and the United States being an army brat. She saw Europe, Alaska, California, Oklahoma and many other states in between during our family travels.
She is survived by her brother, Domenic Picard of Mapleville; and her niece and nephew, Mckenzie Picard and Zachary Picard, both of Johnston. She was the sister of the late Ronald Picard.
A prayer service will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
