Carolyn Clark Obituary

East Greenwich - Carolyn W. Clark, 99, of East Greenwich, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. She was the companion of the late Margaret Gardner.

Born in Hanover, Mass., a daughter of the late Oliver F. Clark and the late Josephine (Gomley) Clark-Child, she had lived in Cumberland for thirty-seven years before moving to East Greenwich ten years ago.

Miss Clark was a bookkeeper for Mathewson Equipment, Inc. before retiring.  She was a member of the Church of the Master, Providence.

She is survived by her niece, Stephanie Reid and her husband Stephen, and nephews, D. Ross Gardner III, and his wife Valerie, Stephen Clark. and Richard Clark.  She was the sister of the late William C. Clark.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.  Private burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Abington, Mass.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Church of the Master, 15 Valley Street, Providence, R.I. 02909 would be appreciated.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
