Lincoln - Carol-Ann (Mousseau) Dufresne, 80, formerly of Livingston Street, died Monday, January 22, 2024 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. Dufresne.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Adelard and Meoline (Roberge) Mousseau, she had lived in Lincoln and Bradenton, Florida for most of her life.
Mrs. Dufresne worked as the personnel director at the former Rosewood Manor, East Providence before retiring.
She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed watching the PGA Tour. In her free time she also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
She survived by her children, Richard Dufresne, and his wife Maureen, of Woonsocket, Laurie Domenici, and her husband Christopher, of North Kingstown, Steven Dufresne, and his wife Erica, of Berlin, Connecticut, and Kelly DaSilva, and her husband Billy, of Pawtucket; two brothers, Albert Mousseau and his wife Janis, of Cumberland, and David Mousseau, and his wife Carol, of Ellington, Florida; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 am in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am.
