Brian S. Leopold

Narragansett – Brian S. Leopold, 54, of Narragansett, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at South County Hospital, South Kingstown. 

Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, a son of Elaine C. (Doucette) Leopold, and the late Thomas H. Leopold, he had lived in Narragansett for over thirty years.

Brian was a finish taper for the Painters and Tapers Union for many years.

He enjoyed boating on the Narrow River in Narragansett, often going out to view the sunsets. Brian truly loved living on the river and would take friends and family out on his boat at every opportunity. He took joy in knowing how to navigate the river from beginning to end and would laugh with those that didn’t.

Besides his mother, he is survived by one son, Kameron Leopold of Johnston; one sister and her husband, Karen Leopold and Shawn Brandt of Lincoln; one brother, Thomas D. Leopold of Lincoln; and one niece Hannah Leopold-Brandt.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Andrew J. Gauthier Scholarship Fund, 207 Legend Rock Road, Wakefield, RI 02879 would be appreciated.  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
