Lincoln - Beverly O. (Andreoni) Hadfield, 84, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at home surrounded her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Edward S. Hadfield, with whom she enjoyed thirty years of marriage.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Aldo and Claire (Morvillo) Andreoni, she was a graduate of East Providence High School where she was involved in Girl's intramurals, bowling, Hi-Tri, secretary club and Jamboree. Beverly has lived in Charlestown, but spent most of her life in Lincoln, RI.
Mrs. Hadfield worked as a bookkeeper for F. I. Barney Co. and later Culligan Water Conditioning before retiring in the mid 1980's.
Beverly loved her family unconditionally and was a devout mother, grandmother and aunt. She was proud of being able to spend so much quality time with her grandkids throughout their lives, teaching them about love, charity, tradition, faith and having fun. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends, going out to dinner, traveling, and dancing the night away. In addition to her family and friends, Beverly had a passion for being near the water and her favorite summer tradition was the annual Morvillo Fourth of July party in Conimicut where she made her famous stuffies and eggplant parmesan. Beverly enjoyed clamming and boating, and was a member of the Quonset-Davisville Navy Yacht Club. Her adventurous spirit also led her to travel extensively, especially to Vieste and Fano, Italy. Those towns held a special place in her heart as she embraced the Italian food, wine and culture. Beverly formed treasured relationships with family members and made many special friends over the years in Italy. Beverly was the matriarch of her family and was instrumental in organizing family gatherings, making exquisite meals, transforming her home to match any and all of the holidays, and providing a place in which many a memory was made.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Duva and her partner Karen of Charlton, Mass.; two sons, Christopher Duva of Charlestown and Jonathan Wilk of Cranston; one stepson, Edward S. Hadfield, Jr. and his wife Ilene of East Taunton, Mass.; one sister, Deborah Brudevold and her husband, Finn, of Warren; and four grandchildren, Cole Duva, John Duva, Nathan Wilk and Julian Wilk. She also leaves her niece Kristin Brudevold (Daniel) of New Mexico and their children Bjorn and Sunniva who absolutely adored their "Auntie Bev".
