Betty Ann (Cloutier) Wood

Lincoln – Betty Ann (Cloutier) Wood, 75, of Lincoln passed away peacefully On August 19, 2023 at Miriam Hospital, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of James Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Wood were married for 57 years.

   Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Alice S. (Berthiaume) Cloutier, she had lived in Lincoln for the past 15 years.

   Besides her beloved husband, Betty was the devoted mother of James W. Wood and his wife Michelle of Glocester, and Charles R. Wood and his wife Jeni of Cumberland. She was the loving grandmother of Jimmy, Mikayla, Victoria, Chuck, Amber and Olivia. Betty was the dear sister of Karen Lea of Pascoag and the late Nancy Norgaard. She also leaves her loving niece J. Lea Plante.

   The family would like to give special thanks to all of Betty's friends that assisted with caretaking over the past few years. A special thanks to the staff at Miriam Hospital, especially the nurses on SCU; You are true "angels".

   Her funeral and burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
