Lincoln - Bertha “Betty” F. (Mauricio) Laliberte, 96, of Shady Brook Circle, died Sunday, June 27, 2021 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland Laliberte.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Antonio and Olivia (Rogers) Mauricio, she had lived in Lincoln for seventy-five years.
Mrs. Laliberte worked as a weaver at the former Pontiac Mills, Cumberland, before retiring. She was a communicant of St. James Church, Manville. She loved her family very much, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her many canine grandchildren..
She is survived by two daughters, Paulette Faulkner, and her husband Lee, of Lincoln and Pamela Lage, and her husband Joseph, of Pawtucket; three sisters, Irene Arcand of Johnston, Mabel Genereux of Las Vegas, Nevada and Mary West of California; six brothers, Manoel Mauricio of Pawtucket, Joseph Mauricio of El Cajon, California, James Mauricio of Alpine, California, George Mauricio of San Francisco, California, Steven Mauricio of Missouri and Antonio Mauricio of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren, Matthew Lage, Jessica Corvese and Thomas Lage; one great grandson, Anthony Corvese; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Mauricio, William Mauricio, Norman Mauricio, Francis Mauricio and Olivia Guglietti.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
