North Providence- Barbara Robinson, 92, of Arthur Avenue, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at The Holiday Retirement Center, Manville. She was the beloved wife of James Robinson for 72 years. Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Elwin and Amelia (Rushford) Eddleston.
Mrs. Robinson worked as a Customer Service Representative for Ann & Hope and RI Hospital Trust before her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke's Church and participated in the Church Soup Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her six siblings, Laura Robinson, Clifford Eddleston, Elwin Eddleston, Helen Vanstone, Hazel Hannaway, Mildred Boyles, and son-in-law Arthur Tarinelli.
Besides her husband Jim, she is survived by her daughter, Debra (Robinson) Tarinelli , her son Dana Robinson and his wife Aimee, Grandchildren, Jason Tarinelli, wife Betsy, Lyndsay Baldwin, husband David 3rd, Bobby Morel, wife Meghan, Christoper Morel, wife Mary, Great Grandchildren, David 4th, Isabella, Lexi, Aubree, Jason Jr., Gianna, and Matilda. Barbara also left several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00AM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to The Bread of Life Ministries, c/o St. Luke's Church, 670 WeedenStreet, Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.
