Pawtucket - Antonio A. Cabral
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Antonio Cabral, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who left us peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 93.
Born on June 10, 1932, in Portugal, Antonio was the son of Sotero and Leopoldina Cabral. He came to America in 1945 with a dream to provide the best life for his family and future. He lived in Pawtucket for over 60 years where his three children were raised.
Antonio (aka Tony) was a hard worker all his life, he left for Brazil in the late 1950's to marry his beautiful wife, Nazareth. He then came back to America in 1963 to raise his children. At that time Tony worked for Forte Brothers Construction Company as a grader operator. This was his life for the next 50+ years. Tony loved to tell all of his stories both as a child in Portugal and about his work experiences. We would drive down any street in RI and he would say, I worked on that road.
He is survived by his children, Tony Cabral, Elizabeth (Dave) O'Hara, and Fatima (Thomas) Miller; his cherished grandchildren, Jason and his wife Lacy, Stefan, Rachel, Greggory and his wife Melissa, Ryan and his wife Morgan, Emily, and Nick; his sister, Maria and his brother Fernado; his seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a celebration of Antonio's life at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
We will miss you deeply, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved you. Thank you for the countless memories, laughter, and love you gifted us throughout your beautiful life. Rest in peace.
