Pawtucket – Anna F. (Paradis) St. Pierre, 97, formerly of Pawtucket, died Monday, January 2, 2023 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Mr. Maurice St. Pierre.
Born in Attleboro, Mass., a daughter of the late Delphis and Aurore (Rene) Paradis, she had lived in the Darlington Section of Pawtucket for many years. She was a former communicant of St. Cecilia Church, Pawtucket.
Mrs. St. Pierre was one of the original Avon Ladies as she honed her skills to become a trusted cosmetician and manager of the cosmetics department at the former Howell Smith Pharmacy, Pawtucket for many years before retiring. Her gentle, kind and caring demeanor was her greatest gift to all.
She is survived by two daughters, Anne Marie Scott, and her husband Donald, of Warwick and Michele St. Pierre, and her partner Burt Isaacs, of Smithfield; one son, Eugene St. Pierre, and his wife Susanne, of Cranston; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by thirteen siblings which included Irene Fontaine, Lucie Cloutier, Delphis Paradis, Arthur Paradis, Lionel Paradis, Olivier Paradis, Doris Johnson, Yvonne Naylor, Rita Laferriere, Henri Paradis, Joseph Paradis, Ernest Paradis, and Lorraine Dorothy.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Antoine Residence for the excellent care given to their mother and especially the Special Care Unit at St. Antoine Residence where she spent her final months.
Her funeral will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 8:30 a.m.from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
