Lincoln - Anna M. (Baffoni) Durvin, 89, of Lincoln, died Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the beloved wife of William F. Durvin, Jr. Mr. & Mrs. Durvin had been married for seventy years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Peter and Louisa (Del Mastro) Baffoni, she had lived in Smithfield for many years before moving to Lincoln six years ago.
Mrs. Durvin was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Providence, Class of 1952. She was a dining services worker at Bryant College for twenty-nine years retiring in 1996.
Anna was a wonderful cook, and loved to spend time taking care of her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, William F. Durvin III, and his wife Christine, of Lincoln, and Stephen M. Durvin, and his wife Susan, of North Scituate; and six grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Annmarie Ottaviano, and the sister of the late Peter Baffoni, Jr., Raymond Baffoni and Roger Baffoni.
Her funeral will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
