East Greenwich- Ann R. (Albert) Valentine, 83, formerly of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence (Bob) L. Valentine, Jr.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Risho) Albert.
Mrs. Valentine was a teacher for over 30 years. She changed lives teaching elementary school in Cumberland, nursery school at Chapel Four Corners and at Central Falls High School. She enjoyed spending time with dear friends, with whom she was always laughing. Her family meant the world to her, especially her two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother, Mitchell Albert.
She is survived by her two children, Erica Valentine of North Kingstown and Glenn Valentine (Kerri) of East Greenwich; two grandsons, Andrew and Joshua Valentine; and her brother Abraham (Bee) Albert.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
