Lincoln - Mrs. Andrée J. Levesque, 91, of Lincoln, formerly of Cumberland, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Patrick R. Levesque.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late René and Olivine (Roux) Julien, she had lived in Cumberland for thirty-four years until moving to Lincoln in 2001.
Andrée managed her husband's medical office for 32 years and retired in 2000. She was a rare and beautiful soul whose giving and selfless nature helped so many she encountered throughout her lifetime. She was a dedicated mother to her one daughter, Melanie Madden and husband John, of Lincoln; two sons: Philip Levesque and husband Carlton Gibbs III, of Sonoma, California, and Charles Levesque and wife Michelle, of Scituate, Massachusetts; she was a devoted sister to Denise Jasmin of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; Andrée full-heartedly made the best pancakes for her five grandchildren, Sean Madden, Danielle Madden, Madeleine Levesque, Sylvie Levesque and Ava Levesque, and cared deeply for her extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
